On 26 November, LPCUWC and UWCHK celebrated the official launch of the Anniversary celebrations which are to run in the academic year 2022/23. As part of the lauch, guest witnessed the official opening of the Lee Shau Kee Amphithreatre and the Enghlightment Center which are extended projects of the Lee Shau Kee Peace Education Centre.
Officiating guests included: Mr Anthony Tong,Chairman of LPCUWC Board, Mr Chan Kwok-ki, GBS, IDSM, JP (Chief Secretary for Administration, HKSAR) Guest-of-Honour, Mr Faith Abiodun, Chief Executive of UWC International, HM Queen Noor of Jordan, UWC President and Dr Arnett Edwards, Principal of LPCUWC.
During the official opening ceremony, multiple sharing sessions were held with alumni from LPCUWC & from other UWC schools and Colleges alongside current LPCUWC students about their involvement in peace and sustainability.
